Where and when do small groups meet?
Most groups meet weekly in homes, but a few meet at a coffee shop or at the church. There are a few groups which meet in the morning or afternoon but the majority of our groups meet in the evening.

How many people are in a small group?
Small Groups vary in size from four to fourteen people.

Who leads the group?
Small groups at Shadow Mountain are led by volunteer leaders who have been trained to facilitate discussion and help members grow spiritually. We don’t expect our leaders to be Bible experts, but they are very effective in helping people apply Biblical truths.

Are all small groups the same?
Absolutely not. They come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. What is consistent with our groups though, is a commitment to sharing, studying the Bible, supporting one another, and serving others.

Do you have to be a Christian to attend a small group?
Not at all. Small groups are a place where Christians and non-Christians alike can explore Jesus and His teachings together.

Do I need to bring anything to small group?
We recommend you bring a Bible and the small group notes from the weekend service, but these certainly are not a requirement for attendance.
