This Summer at Young Marrieds Cafe, discover what these words can mean for the future of your marriage. It is our hope that you will experience real transformation in your marriage by the end of this Summer.

What exactly is a young married couple?
We consider young couples to be 35 and under... however we really leave the "young" part up to you... it’s based on your own personal comfort level and life stage. We have everywhere from newlyweds to couples married 12 years and couples with children to no children any time soon. On an average week we have about 35-40 couples in our cafe's.

Young Adults Pastor
Emmanuel Sanchez and his wife Jennifer
Emmanuel (Manny) Sanchez is the Pastor of Young Adults at Shadow Mountain and oversees the Young Marrieds Café, Young Adults Café and College Café. He loves working with young adults and helping them grow in their relationship with God and others. He has been at Shadow Mountain for 8 years. He and his wife, Jennifer will be married 13 years in July 2013. They have three wonderful children: Noelle (7), Luke Sanchez (4) and Levi Sanchez (1). They love going to Disneyland with their kids and sneaking in a date night whenever they can.

Marghee Griffin and her husband Brian
Marghee Griffin has been working at Shadow Mountain since June 2009. She helped launch Young Marrieds Cafe because she is passionate about connecting young married couples and providing a thriving community for the next generation of families within our church. Marghee and her husband, Brian Griffin, will be married 6 years in June 2012. They met in college at Cal Poly State University- San Luis Obispo and shared the same major in Business Marketing. Brian is a civilian who works for the Navy as a Contract Specialist. They have three beautiful children: Eliann Griffin (6), David Griffin (3) and Pierce Griffin (1). They love spending time with their family and their new young married friends hosting game nights at their house... they challenge any couple!

Young Adults Administrative Assistant
Jenna Miller and her husband Josh
Jenna Miller has been volunteering her time with the college and young adult ministries since coming to Shadow Mountain in 2009. She helped launch the college ministry and led a college age co-ed small group with her now husband Josh. Today, Jenna leads a young adult women’s group at her home, and is very passionate about connecting young women and encouraging them towards purity and holiness. Jenna and Josh have been married since January 2012, and don’t have kids yet (they’re still enjoying their “newlywed” phase). They love reading good books, learning together, seeing new places, and challenging others in their relationships with God.
