I believe God has directed us toward this book for such a time as this. The relevancy of Peter’s message for today is unmistakable! We will hear God’s words exhort, equip, and encourage us to live victoriously in an increasingly hostile world. The themes we have been studying through Paul’s writing: our identity in Christ and our citizenship in heaven, will continue in 1 Peter, and can impact our response to current suffering.  Best of all, we continue to follow Jesus, our Living Hope. We all need this book!”

The Daniel Prayer is born deep within your soul, erupts through your heart, and pours out on your lips, words created by and infused with the Spirit of God quivering with spiritual electricity. It’s really not an everyday type of prayer. It’s a prayer birthed under pressure. Heartache. Grief. Desperation. It can be triggered by a sudden revelation of hope. An answer to prayer, a promise freshly received, a miracle that lies just over the horizon.

In this verse-by-verse study of the Book of Hebrews, Jen Wilkin explores how God “provided something better for us” in the person of Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:40). Through stories of Old Testament heroes and practices, the author of Hebrews demonstrates how the new covenant is superior to the old and how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of every promise. Explore familiar verses in context of the entire Bible, learning how to place your hope and faith in Christ alone.
